While our focus on health tries to improve the present, our focus on education looks to the future. As the world becomes more and more globalized it is important that developing countries increase their educational attainment in order to fully integrate. Our goal is to provide a high quality primary school education that will prepare students to excel at all levels of schooling. Relative to developed countries, the return on investment to education is higher in developing countries (see figure 1.9).

Unfortunately, many schools in developing countries (especially in rural areas) lack the resources necessary to provide the education necessary to take advantage of these gains. By focusing on primary school in particular and by partnering with churches we aim to solve many of the problems faced by schools in these regions.
