Rev. David Frimpong Boateng

On July 14th, 2020, Pastor David Frimpong Boateng went to be with the Lord.

For the past twelve years our team has had the pleasure of working with Pastor David. David’s contribution to our work in Ghana cannot be overstated. All that has been accomplished in Ofoase was because of his sacrifice and dedication. And while it was a pleasure working with David, it pales in comparison to the pleasure of knowing David. There was not a more Godly man nor better pastor. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.

In honor of his partnership and friendship we are taking donations for his family and burial cost. Anything you choose to give will go a long way to bless his family in their time of mourning and need.

Ofoase Site Visit & Clinic Update

Our Board of Directors just returned from their trip to Akim Ofoase to see the clinic progress and plan for next steps. We are happy to report the following:

  • The clinic walls are completed and we have moved on to preparations for the roof framing.

  • The bore hole for clean water has been completed and is 260 feet deep. Next we will set up the filtration system and water hosing for the water tank.

  • During the trip we began preparations and got estimates to install electricity that will be adequate to power the clinic and the church.

  • The church has begun forming leadership for the clinic including a clinic manager, a health education specialist and an environmental officer who are all deacons at the church.

  • A small school has already been started at the church. We will begin construction of a full-sized school once the medical clinic is up and running.

Thanks to all who have supported the work being done!
