Our Board of Directors just returned from their trip to Akim Ofoase to see the clinic progress and plan for next steps. We are happy to report the following:

The clinic walls are completed and we have moved on to preparations for the roof framing.
The bore hole for clean water has been completed and is 260 feet deep. Next we will set up the filtration system and water hosing for the water tank.
During the trip we began preparations and got estimates to install electricity that will be adequate to power the clinic and the church.
The church has begun forming leadership for the clinic including a clinic manager, a health education specialist and an environmental officer who are all deacons at the church.
A small school has already been started at the church. We will begin construction of a full-sized school once the medical clinic is up and running.
